I've rarely (or never) hear a gay male (or famale) so strongly call out the bs like this. As a straight white, middle class, male...I'm immediately suspect. So, if I respond like you... I'm immediatley labeled homophobe...I have two gay family members...no one cares...it's not an issue...we all have lives to live.
